remember the time when spock quoted sherlock and then sherlock was in the next movie
remember how sherlock said that and john called him spock
remember when Spock said that quote once and said it was by one of his ancestors which means he’s related to Sherlock
If I ever played the Doctor, all I would do on my days off is get into costume and run around London looking worried.

“Thanks Guys… It’s been emotional” - Steve Lawes, 21st May 2013
(From left to right: Steve Lawes, Martin Freeman, Benedict Cumberbatch, Arwel Wyn Jones)
I think that a lot of the reason Jarvis has become so human is because Tony treats him like he’s human. Tony talks to Jarvis in a very colloquial way. He says “you up?” when he knows damn well that Jarvis is operational. He says “throw a little hot-rod red in there” instead of “paint components x, y, and z with red paint #20.” Tony treats all his machinery like that—Dummy and You, especially—and Jarvis is no exception.
Jarvis has become much more human since Iron Man 1. He actually displayed emotions in Iron Man 3—specifically when he feared for Tony’s life, his voice sounded terribly frightened, and in instances like the second gif where he said “I need to sleep” and not “My battery is depleted.” Jarvis has grown and changed, as any self-aware creature does. He has become human because he is treated as such.
It’s like every time Benedict greets someone he knows, he just defaults to Bromance Mode.
The second to last gif. That moment when Stoick realizes his son is alive, and he gasps and pulls him a little closer. Never ceases to amaze me and fill me with emotion.
I think a lot of people forget that HTTYD is as much a father son story as it is about a boy and his dragon, and that Stoick is a beautiful character, and a father who is trying his best in the only way he knows how. He loves Hiccup. Never in that movie did he STOP loving Hiccup. He struggles between his duties as a chief and his duty as a father. He has to make decisions for the greater good, which is difficult. He NEVER stopped loving his son.
Stoick is one of my favorite characters from this series. Id say he ties with Toothless for number 2, honestly. He is perfection. and he reminds me of my own dad. Sometimes my father and I dont see eye to eye, but thats only because we are so much alike. And at the end of the day, we are family and we love each other.
